Full time equivalent: 40 hrs./52 weeks
Salary: $21.13 per hour
Job Summary: Reporting to the Director of Family Engagement, ERSEA, Health, and Nutrition, the ERSEA Assistant will work collaboratively with Family Engagement and Family Advocates to ensure the execution of high-quality ERSEA systems and policies that are in full compliance with Head Start Performance Standards and CAPC’s policies and procedures. The ERSEA Assistant supports the program and ensures that it is fully enrolled, reaches eligible children and families in our communities, maintains high levels of attendance and delivers the highest level of customer experience to our families throughout the recruitment, application and enrollment process.
Education/Experience: A High School diploma or GED. Prefer a degree in Marketing or Human Services.
A minimum of two years working in an office setting with computer work being the major duty of the position. Experience working with low-income families.
Other Qualifications: Must have good computer skills and be proficient in using MS software products, be a self-starter, and have the ability to start projects and carry them through. Must be able to work independently and able to meet deadlines. Must be able to communicate with various levels of staff in professions within and external to the Agency.
Physical Demands: This position requires the employee to be in an office setting. This position may travel to other center locations and work at community events. The employee must be able to frequently lift 10 lbs. Frequent keyboarding, finger dexterity, and computer use. Required Licenses, Certifications and/or Registrations: Applicants must have a current Florida Driver’s license, reliable transportation, satisfactory criminal records check for abuse and neglect, and state required minimum vehicle insurance and uninsured motorist insurance. Must meet all requirements of the Department of Children and Families.
