Summary: Reporting to the Director of Economic and Social Services through the Kitchen Manager, the Stock Person-Porter position is primarily responsible for the stocking, storing and rotation of food items and for the delivery of meals to HeadStart Centers and classrooms.

Salary: Starting $11.06 per hour

40 hours per week/40 weeks per year:
 25 hours per week will be as a Stock Person/Kitchen Aide
 15 hours per week as a Porter/Facilities Maintenance

SUMMARY: Reporting to the Director of Economic and Social Services through the Kitchen Manager, the Stock Person Porter position is primarily responsible for the stocking, storing and rotation of food items and for the delivery of meals to Head Start Centers and classrooms. Additionally,this position will assist in receiving the delivery of food supplies, food preparation,and assisting with facilities maintenance.
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE: A High School diploma or GED. One year of food prep experience and ServSafe credential preferred.
OTHER QUALIFICATIONS: Applicants must have a current Florida Driver’s license, reliable transportation, satisfactory criminal records check for abuse and neglect, negative TB skin test, drug testing as required and state required minimum vehicle insurance and uninsured motorist insurance. Applicants must meet all Department of Children and Families requirements for employment and must be able to successfully complete the forty-hour childcare class.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: This position requires the employee to be in a standing position for most work hours. The employee must be able to frequently lift 50 lbs. with frequent bending, stooping, and overhead arm movements.
