Community Action Program Committee, Inc., (CAPC) located in Pensacola, Florida was formed and has served Northwest Florida since April, 1965. In its infancy, our agency provided a summer program for children, and later developed other programs focusing on employment, food and nutrition, homelessness and energy assistance. Today, CAPC has four major programs under its umbrella:

  • Community Services Block Grant (CSBG)
  • Head Start/Early Head Start
  • Low-Income Home Energy Assistance (LIHEAP)
  • Weatherization

With individual and family self-sufficiency as our targeted outcomes, these four programs work cohesively together as our organization focuses on its vision to change people’s lives, to embody the spirit of hope and to make the community a better place to live.

In supporting our mission to help individuals and families to achieve self-sufficiency, we are seeking and encouraging people who share our vision and believe in our mission to join our team.
