expansion of a new
program in Escambia
County – Early Head
Start. Early Head
Start is a program
that serves children
0 – 3 years old and
pregnant women.
Early Head Start
will serve parents
and children in the
areas of Century/Bratt,
Cantonment/Molino,
Warrington and the
Pensacola area.
This program is
designed to provide
comprehensive
education, social
and heath services
to pregnant women
and young children.
Eligibility into the
program is based on
income, family size
and special needs of
the child/family.

Classrooms
These extended day
classrooms are
specifically
designed for working
parents as well as
parents who are
attending school.
Children may arrive
as early as 7:00 AM
and may stay as late
as 5:00 PM at no
cost to the parents.
Additional
assistance is
offered in all areas
of school readiness,
including alphabet
recognition and
beginning sounds,
number recognition
and meaningful
counting and
writing.

extended day option
is available at the
