TEACHER II ( Pre-school)
SALARY RANGE: $10.84 - $12.43 per hour / 37.5 hours per week
QUALIFICATIONS: Associates or Bachelors degree in Early Childhood education, supervisory experience, DCF 40 Hour Child Care Certificate required, experience working with children 3 to 5 yrs. old.
DUTIES: The Teacher II is responsible for planning, and implementing the curriculum for the child development program. Teaching, planning, record keeping, nurturing children and promoting parent participation are among the major responsibilities of this position.

INFANT/TODDLER TEACHER
SALARY: $10.84 - $12.43 per hour / 40 hrs. per week
QUALIFICATIONS: Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education with a specialization working with infants and toddlers. DCF 40 hour Child Care Certificate required. Experience working with children birth to three years old.
DUTIES: Infant/Toddler Teacher II primary function is as caregiver to assigned children six weeks through three years of age. Promote each child’s growth and development by planning and implementing developmentally appropriate experiences, create an environment in which children can develop personal relationships, experiment, make choices, solve problems, and develop age appropriate self-help skills are among the major responsibilities of the position.

VPK TEACHER
SALARY: $10.84 – 12.43 per hour / 35 hours per week / 41 weeks per year
QUALIFICATIONS: – Must have a High School Diploma or GED and a National CDA or Florida Equivalent. Degree in Early childhood Education, VPK Standards training and VPK Endorsement is preferred. Applicants must have a minimum of one year experience working with preschool children in a Head Start or childcare setting. Completion of DCF 40 hour child care class with VPK literacy required.
DUTIES: The VPK Teacher is responsible for planning and implementing the curriculum for the VPK child development program. Teaching, planning, record keeping, nurturing children and promoting parent participation are among the major responsibilities of this position.

TEACHER AIDE – Part Time – 20 hours per week – Early Head Start Program
SALARY: $9.17 per hour
QUALIFICATIONS: High School diploma or GED. DCF 40 hour child care certificate required. Experience working with children birth to three.
DUTIES: The Teacher Aide is responsible for assisting the Teacher. Preparation and stocking of classroom supplies, lunch relief, and assisting children with self-help skills are among the major responsibilities of this position.

BUS DRIVER/CUSTODIAN - 40 hours per week, 41 weeks per year
SALARY: $10.19 per hour –
QUALIFICATIONS: Must have a high School Diploma or GED. A CDL license,
Class B or above with airbrake and school bus endorsement. Must provide the Agency with proof of a clean driving record. This position requires the employee to be in a seated position on a school bus for the majority of the day. The employee will be required to stand for long periods of time while cleaning or working in the classroom. Bending at the waist, stooping, lifting, kneeling, and crouching on the floor are required. The employee must be able to lift 50 pounds.
DUTIES: Bus Driver is responsible for the safe transportation of children to and from school, on field trips, and medical appointments. Transporting children, record keeping, adhering to all traffic regulations, assisting with children, delivering food and supplies are among the major responsibilities of this position. The bus driver is also responsible for the daily cleaning of the centers.
